9.15.08 Italian Fox

Italian SilverFox artist Ivano Zanotti is currently on tour with his band Frontiera. The band is direct support for Vasco Rossi's stadium tour and have been selling out crowds around 90,000 to 120,000 people. Check out Frontiera!

9.02.08 NEW RELEASES!

Chris "Chachi" Guglielmo and his band Bayside will release "Shudder" on Victory Records on September 30th. Their last record "The Walking Wounded" found rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Bayside will support their record with a full US headlining tour featuring The Matches, Valencia and The Status. Chris' choice of stick is the SilverFox Fat Boy.

8.15.08 NEW RELEASES!

Mick Parsons and his band Rookie Of The Year just released a new record "Sweet Attention" on One Eleven Records. Mick has been with SilverFox since his drumming days for indie heroes Jonezetta and his drumming only got better.

The new record is filled with hooks, catchy riffs and GREAT drumming. Be sure to pick up a copy and see them live. They are currently on tour in support of the record with bands SecondHand Serenade, My American Heart, and The Graduate. After the current tour, they join the Mest, QuietDrive and Automatic Loveletter tour.

On June 2nd, Cary Academy (Cary, NC) held a clinic for their students, 6th-12th grade, featuring SilverFox artist Tony Artimisi. Tony’s clinic featured bass drum technique, 4-limb coordination, timpani/mallet playing and basic rock/jazz grooves.

11.15.07 Montreal Drum Fest 07!

This past weekend, SF went to the Montreal Drum Festival. Artist Relations manager Jeff Harrington met up with Pat Sayers (Young Galaxy, shown on left), Sturgis Cunningham (Martin Sexton), and Rick Peate (Peate Musical, our new Canadian distributor shown on right).

10.09.06 Tours and Records...

David Lynam has been a long time endorser and has a great tour going. His group, appropriately named Lynam, will be going on tour with Hinder. They will be venturing out together for 41 club dates around the nation. Do not miss this! Good tour, great drummer.

We have a new face in our family! Chris Chachi of Bayside (Victory Records) is now part of the revolution. Seen on Warped Tours, club tours, and known as indie-alternative rock heroes, we are really excited to have Chris and Bayside aboard!

And how could we forget our own? Jeff Harrington (SilverFox A&R) and his band the Snow Leopards, won the Boston Music Award for best Local Single of the Year.

Endorser Jordan Marchini (Bella Morte) will be releasing the much anticipated record "Bleed the Grey Sky Black" on Metropolis Records on October 10th, 2006. Bella Morte promises that this will be the greatest effort to date. The CD contains their MySpace hit

We have some new faces in the SilverFox family. Joe Plummer from Modest Mouse and Black Heart Procession has joined the revolution. Watch for a new Modest Mouse record out in the fall. Randy Miller (left) from The Myriad has also come aboard. They are currently touring so be sure to check them when they come to your city.

Who's on the road? Darrin Costin is gearing up for a brand new tour with international star, Bjork. Look for out for dates.

Derek Kerswill (Seemless) has just wrapped up the tour with NonPoint, but now plan to hit the road with The Sword and Trivium in support of their new Equal Vision Records release What Have We Become.

8.10.06 Fox is in town...

GSM Trading, SilverFox’s newly appointed Korean Distributor, introduced SilverFox sticks at the Korean Drum Festival (Seoul) Many of Korea’s top drummers were in attendance. Sanghoon Lee, a renowned Korean drummer, took SilverFox for a test run

and was impressed with the enhanced durability and great feel of SilverFox sticks. Watch out Korea, the fox is in town!

New endorser Adam Vanderkolk of The Hourly Radio will be playing Lollapalooza this year in Chicago! They are one of the lucky bands to play this incredible event, so don't miss it! This year SilverFox has been chosen to be an official sponsor of the East Coast Indie Stage as presented on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour. SilverFox will be supplying the East Coast Indie Stage with our premium hand-finished drumsticks to use and abuse! We’re thrilled that SilverFox endorsers Chris Snykus of Jupiter Sunrise and Peter Metzler of Down to Earth Approach will be featured in these performances!

Grover Pro Percussion, Fox’s parent company has been asked to supply the East Coast Indie Stage with a hand-crafted Grover® Custom Drum Kit. These drum kits are custom made one-at-a-time and available in very limited quantities. 3.23.06 PROJECT CLAWSTIX!

The SilverFox Research & Design Team continues to make groundbreaking advancements in drumstick manufacturing technology. Our expanded manufacturing capacity will insure that we continue to meet growing demand for SilverFox products throughout the world. Recently, the R&D team has been secretly

working on a new product dubbed “CLAWSTIX”. While we can’t divulge details right now, check back often so you don’t miss out on the upcoming product release announcement.

2.04.06 THE FOX RETURNS TRIUMPHANT!

The SilverFox road crew just returned from the huge NAMM Convention held in Anaheim, California. NAMM brings together 65,000 of the worlds finest instrument manufacturers, dealers and top artists for four days of noise filled fun! The SilverFox booth was constantly mobbed with both discriminating players

and savvy dealers. We saw many new faces and some old friends as well. We especially loved seeing (and hearing) some of our talented endorsers, many who are based on the “left” coast.

On hand were every one our hand-finished drum stick models as well as our world renowned SilverFox marching mallets. Positive feedback was flowing from all of our visitors. This year players shared some great new product concepts (keep an eye on our website for a soon-to-be-unveiled product) If you were unable to make it, here’s a sampling of the action at our booth!

NAMM 2006
SilverFox will be attending the NAMM convention in Anaheim, California from January 19th -23rd. If you are attending NAMM, please feel free to swing by and say hi to us. Our display in Hall D - Booth #2998 will feature every SilverFox drumstick model and more!

Our SilverFox production crew acquired new state-of-the-art pitch pairing hardware! This new equipment will enhance our ability to provide drummers with sticks that are impeccably matched right out of the sleeve!

Watch Brian "Bubba" Joyce use and abuse SilverFox Drumsticks and his own Grover Custom drum kit in Hell Within's new video Bleeding Me Black! Hell Within has toured nationally with some of hardcore/metal's heaviest hitters and have caught the attention of LifeForce Records recently. Armed with coffin-tight double bass and grueling machine gun drums, Hell Within has been making a name for themselves in the underground circuit. SilverFox Artists On The Move
We recently attended the Montreal Drum Festival where Michel Bernard and Rick Bourque were featured performers. Michel and his band gave a great performance on Friday night and on Saturday Rick performed with Eric Lapoint. It was a pleasure to have these two great artists representing SilverFox at this event. Thanks Guys!

Our new endorser, Scott Mcphearson (Ben Lee) was nominated for several awards at the Australian Aria awards, which is comparable to the Grammy awards in the US. The band was awarded Best Independent Release and Ben won Best Male Artist for 2005. Congratulations go out to Scott and the rest of the band!

SilverFox touring artists Matt “Cornbread” Compton (Biology) and Luke Garro (Piebald) are “hitting the road”. You might want to catch these guys when they’re in your area.

10.22.05 THE FOX IS DISCOVERED!

On October 7th, a film crew spent an exhausting day at the SilverFox factory filming for the Discovery Channel program "How It's Made". This program focuses on some of the world's most interesting products and manufacturers. The Fox was contacted late in the summer by the producers.

It seems they "googled" drumstick and found our website. After watching our factory tour video they were most impressed with our operation and facilities. Their initial enthusiasm for SilverFox sticks went through the roof after they arrived and actually saw how our skilled production crew carefully blends hands-on-production with state-of-the-art technology (like our digital pitch pairing software)!

Check your local listing. The segment on SilverFox will air on the Science Channel (part of the Discovery Channel) sometime in the first half of 2006.
